MEASURING CONSCIOUS USE OF OPEN CONTENT IN COMPETENCE-BASED EDUCATION Airina Volungevičienė, Zigmas Lydeka, Kristina Mejerytė– Narkevičienė, Vytautas Magnus University, Lithuania The aim of this research is to
identify the methods and tools to increase the level of conscious
use of Open Educational Resources (OER) and open content (OC)
ontologies in competence-based educational settings. The paper
discusses the integration of OC ontologies with learning scenarios,
suggests the method to identify the level of conscious use of OC in
competence-based settings, and defines OpenScout competence-based
ontology use culture specific characteristics in multicultural
settings. Theoretical conceptual research, as well as empirical
research was implemented using OpenScout multicultural community
developing and providing OC services for higher education
institutions and enterprises. |
