A CASE STUDY IN COURSE REDESIGN: MULTIMODALITY & FLEXIBILITY FOR STUDENTS AND INSTRUCTORS

Shaun A. Jackson, Weber State University, United States

This paper presents an exploratory descriptive case study of a credit-bearing university course redesign that addressed two major issues: individual student learning preferences and abilities, and the unique teaching styles and personalities of instructors. The study demonstrates how a flexible and multimodal approach to course design enabled an environment that accommodated a diverse group of instructors and students.
