“HIGH TECH-HIGH TOUCH”: THE CREATION OF A COMMUNITY OF SELF-DIRECTED LEARNERS IN PRIMARY EDUCATION FOR SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT—PILOTING A WIKI Nancy Pyrini Given the
financial crisis situation in Greece, there is a growing need to
intervene with children at a young age, not only to navigate the
financial crisis per se, but to build a better world for the future.
The aim of this paper is to share with the educational community the
attempt of a group of six graders in a Greek elementary school to
develop a community of self-directed learners and their achievements
in a wiki environment. |
