UFV GRADUATE
STUDENT PAPER PRIZE
UFV will award
the UFV
Graduate Student
Paper Prize ICICTE 2010 of 1000 euros for
research contribution to the annual conference. Up to five
finalists will be invited to present their research at the
Graduate Student Award
Symposium of the conference. All final papers
will be published in the conference proceedings.
Submission Procedures:
● All
student submissions to the conference will be considered for
entry in the the UFV Student Paper Prize. Students must be the
first author and be the on-site presenter of the paper. Student
finalists will be refunded 50 Euros of their conference fees
when appearing on site.

Graduate Student Papers will be evaluated using
the same double-blind procedure employed for other
conference paper proposals with the exception that graduate
student papers will be identified as such.
●
Authors of accepted proposals will be required to
submit the first draft of their paper along with a letter
from their graduate advisor stating why they believe their
students paper should be considered for the award
(Deadline: February 26, 2010). Up to five students will be
invited to present their research in the
Graduate Student Award
Symposium.
●
Only one student
may be the first author, and the student's supervisor may
appear on the paper as the second author. No cooperation
research projects are eligible for the contest.
Comments will be forwarded to the authors, and
final manuscripts, with editorial changes, must be received by
April 23, 2010. The papers will be published in the proceedings
under the title: Information
Communication Technologies in Education.
Only papers received before the deadline will be
included in the proceedings.
Prize
The winner of the Graduate Student
Paper Prize will receive 1000 euros to help pay for the travel
expenses and participation at the conference. All finalists who
are present during the closing ceremonies will receive a
citation. In addition, all papers will automatically be
considered for the ICICTE 2010 selected papers issues of
Campus-Wide
Information Systems and the
UFV Research Review.
